Embraer, the intercontinental aerospace manufacturer for agricultural, commercial and military aircraft services, is making a strategic investment in XMobots, a renowned Brazilian company specialising in the development of unmanned aircraft systems (remotely piloted). This collaboration and acquisition of minority shareholdings between XMobots and Embarer, is set to redefine the future mobility landscape within the Latin American region from advanced drone technology services.
Embraer, a Brazilian multinational corporation in the aerospace industry, is renowned for its exceptional contributions in the design, development, and manufacturing of aircrafts since 1969 and currently resides as the fourth-largest global producer of civil aircrafts. Their mission revolves around enhancing global aviation and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of future mobility to better serve consumers and society as a whole. Collaborating with XMobots driven mission of striving to make drone technology and usage a daily reality and one which is utilised for the assistance and advancement within the market field of precision agriculture and geotechnology.
The combined partnership aims to consolidate autonomous aerial robots (drone technology) to accelerate advancements of active solutions for geotechnology methods, environmental inspections, defence and public security, logistics and urban mobility strategies in the Brazilian and Latin American region.

This investment sets the stage for Embraer to harness XMobots’ prowess in drone technology, fortifying its standing in the evolving mobility landscape where drones are projected to play a vital role. Furthermore, XMobots stands to benefit from Embraer’s worldwide footprint and extensive experience in the domain of aircraft manufacturing.

As part of this new partnership, Embraer has invested $30 million in XMobots, with an initial project slated to commence by the end of 2023.
